New Instruments

The construction of a new instrument is the heart of the violin making craft. Violas, violins, baroque instruments and rare instruments such as Hardanger fiddles are made in my workshop at regular intervals. Only the finest woods are used to make the instruments, long-sawn Bosnian maple and Alpine spruce.

Sustainability is also important to me: I offer the processing of alternatives to tropical woods and am happy to advise on this. The exact design is discussed with the customer and achieved in close cooperation. Special models can also be reproduced on request. I also offer to make an individual shape such as an animal head or similar instead of the traditional scroll.
